Cherry Mobile Cosmos Two Features LTE, 5-inch HD display for just Php5,499

Over the past couple of months, Alcatel Flash Plus and Lenovo A7000 smartphones were the talk of the tech town as the two devices offer pretty powerful specs and features for very affordable price tags.  Cherry Mobile wanted to be a part of that talk too as they just released a new smartphone that will compete head to head with these international brands' offerings, meet the Cherry Mobile Cosmos Two.

The Cosmos Two is the newest member of the growing Cosmos Series from Cherry Mobile just following the newly revealed and launched Cosmos S2 smartphone.

A quick run down on the specs for the Cosmos Two device we have 5-inch HD IPS display sporting an On-Cell Full Lamination technology, I don't know how this feature works in terms of display and navigation functionality but I am sure this should provide that best one among 720p devices around. Powering the Cosmos Two is a 1.5GHz quad-core processor from Mediatek, it's a 65-bit chip so I was expecting an Android Lollipop OS but what I learned was an Android Kitkat instead, I hope there will be an Android Lollipop update in the future for this smartphone.

Additionally, there is the 1GB of RAM, and 8GB internal storage which users can use a microSD card up to 64GB in case 8GB is not enough. As for the cameras, there is a massive 14MP rear camera sporting a BSI or backside illumination technology that promises to capture more light and produce better quality of photos in dark environment.

Connectivity functions we have the basics like WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. 3G and LTE are part of the entourage for fastest internet download possible. There's also this USB OTG supports which I believe is one of the most helpful feature we can find on an Android smartphone today.
