New Avatar: Seven Havens animated series announced

The world of bending, spirits, and epic adventures is expanding with the announcement of Avatar: Seven Havens, a brand-new 2D animated series set to take us back to the beloved universe we can’t get enough of. Whether you’re a long-time fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender or a newcomer ready to dive into this rich world, this series promises to deliver the same magic, heart, and jaw-dropping storytelling we’ve come to love.  

What’s the Buzz About?  

Set after the events of The Legend of Korra, Avatar: Seven Havens introduces us to a young Earthbender who discovers she’s the new Avatar. But here’s the twist: she’s not hailed as a savior. Instead, she’s seen as a *destroyer* in a world shattered by a cataclysmic event. Talk about a rocky start!  

Alongside her long-lost twin, she embarks on a thrilling journey to uncover their mysterious origins and save the Seven Havens—the last strongholds of civilization. But it won’t be easy. From human adversaries to spirit realm threats, the stakes have never been higher.  

The Dream Team is Back!  

Here’s the cherry on top: the series is co-created by Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the masterminds behind Avatar: The Last Airbender. With their signature storytelling and intricate world-building, we know we’re in for a treat.  

The show will consist of 26 episodes, split into two seasons of 13 half-hour episodes each. Executive producer Ethan Spaulding (a veteran of the Avatar universe) and co-executive producer Sehaj Sethi are also on board, ensuring the series stays true to its roots while exploring bold new directions.  

A Double Dose of Avatar Goodness  

The announcement of Seven Havens couldn’t have come at a better time. It coincides with the 20th anniversary of Avatar: The Last Airbender, proving just how timeless this franchise is.
