Guardians of the Galaxy Animated Series Poster and Release Date Announced

Disney has officially released a new poster for its upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy animated series and also at the same time announced the release date. It will premiere on September 26 on Disney XD but a preview will be released on September 5.

We won't be seeing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 sequel until July 2017, so this animated version is a very nice treat while we wait for the part 2. It was also unveiled that every Sunday night in August, Disney will air 2-minute clips featuring character origins.

 Additionally, our favorite Guardians characters will be voice by the following actors... Star-Lord (Will Friedle), Groot (Kevin Michael), Rocket Raccoon (Trevor Devall), Drax (David Sobolov), and Gamora (Vanessa Marshall). Are you excited?
