Torque Droidz Spur an Android Kitkat and 3G Tablet for Php3,199
There is a new affordable Android Kitkat tablet from Torque for only Php3,199 that is already able to hold SIM cards to make and calls, text message and internet connection when WiFi is not available, meet the Torque Droidz Spur.
It was silently announced and launched via the company's official Facebook page a couple of days ago.
The Torque Droidz Spur features a 7-inch WSVGA IPS display meaning there is a 1024 x 600 resolution with 170ppi. Inside the device is a 1.0GHz dual-core processor, a relatively small 512MB RAM and a 4GB internal storage. It also supports microSD card up to 32GB for additional memory space. The usual connectivity options are also onboard such as WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
But two of the things I like about the Droidz Spur are the dual-SIM support and 3G connectivity. Unlike any other tablet devices within the same price range do not have 3G support which kind of a let down especially if a user is more of an internet consumer than call and text. 3G should provide a faster access to the internet apart from WiFi option. And also SIM card support is something we don't usually see on Android tablets this cheap.
Torque Droidz Spur specs:
- 7" WSVGA IPS Display
- 1024 x 600 resolution, 170ppi
- 1.0GHz dual-core processor
- 512MB RAM
- 4GB internal storage
