No More All-Plastic Design as The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is Now Official

Samsung has ditched its all-plastic design with the official announcement of the Galaxy Alpha. This device as what the rumors, leaks and speculations suggested sports a metal frame making it, if I remember it right, the very first Samsung high end device to feature metal chassis. Right out of the box users will get a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display screen powered by either a quad-core or octa-core processor depending on the region where the device will be released.

The model number is not confirmed yet and since it will be offered in two configurations many think it will be powered by  Samsung Exynos chip and/or a Snapdragon 805 Soc, either or the Galaxy Alpha will still be able to support LTE Cat 6 connectivity which can boast up to 300mbps download speed. Along with the those chips is a 2GB of RAM and a 32GB internal storage which is unfortunately cannot be expanded.

This new Samsung smartphone runs Android 4.4 Kitkat and is extremely thin only at 7.6mm and only weights 115grams. And I think that size and weights will work better with its 4.7" screen size. Big enough for many use and very easy to carry and use with just one hand. And then for cameras users will get 12MP rear facing one with BSI and LED Flash and a 2.1MP Front facing snapper. I am not just so happy about its battery size as it only sports 1,860mAh. Apart from that and the non-expandable memory I think everything is awesome.
