Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Arrives in the Philippines

The most anticipated Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 series has finally arrived in the Philippines. In this post, I will talk about the basic model of the series, the Redmi Note 13. Now, this particular model comes in two variations when initially launched, a 4G and a 5G. However, it appears that only the 4G LTE one will be released in the Philippines.

This version of the Redmi Note 13 is powered by a Snapdragon 685 octa-core processor. In terms of RAM and storage, there will be a 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB combinations. Good news is both of them are released in the local market. The screen panel is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

As for its display, it packs a very generous 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED with 2400 x 1080 resolution. And if you are looking to get a new smartphone with higher refresh rates, then, this might be your next phone as it sports up to 120Hz refresh rate. Perfect for action-packed gaming needs. 

Now for the cameras, which is one the series' main selling points. On its back is a triple camera setup where the main shooter boasts a staggering 108MP lens. There is an 8MP secondary shooter with ultrawide lens and a third 2MP macro camera. On the front is a 16MP selfie shooter. 

Just like many other Android-powered smartphones, the Redmi Note 13 supports dual SIM functionality. However, it's important to note (no pun intended) that its second SIM slot is a hybrid one, meaning it supports either a SIM card or a microSD card. If you decide to use a microSD card, it can hold up to 1TB. 

It still got a 3.5mm audiojack port for those who still rock wired earphones. But of course, there is always the option to go wireless via its Bluetooth 5.1 feature. To add more bang to its audio experience, Xiaomi threw in dual speakers with Dolby Atmos technology.
