Netflix Releases Official Trailer for its Ultraman Anime Series Adaptation

We know for quite some time now that Netflix was working on a new animated series based on one of the most popular anime comics and series from Japan. And today, the streaming giant has just officially released the trailer for Ultraman anime series. You can watch it below.



The synopsis is as follows...

Several years have passed since the events of Ultraman, with the "Giant of Light" now a memory, as it is believed he returned home after fighting the many giant aliens that invaded the Earth. Shin Hayata's son Shinjiro seems to posses a strange ability, and it is this ability, along with his father's revelation that he was Ultraman, that leads to Shinjiro to battle the new aliens invading the Earth as the new Ultraman. 

This Ultraman series is currently set for April 1, 2019 release on Netflix.
