TellTale Releases First Look at Guardians of the Galaxy Game

Game developer Telltale has just released a couple of photos from their upcoming Marvel-based game called Guardians of the Galaxy giving us fans first look at what's to expect from the said game that is to be released sometime in Spring in the US. Check out the images below.

This game was first announced last year, and today we are getting more details on it and that includes voice actors for the game and which platform it will debut on. Surprisingly, none from the actors from movie version was tapped to provide voices to these now all-time favorite space heroes. And oh before I forget, this game will officially be titled Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, and it will premiere on console, PC, and mobile gaming platforms.

Now seeing this game coming closer to a release, the next question we may have right now is if this will also be officially part of the massive Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The answer is not that clear yet, maybe yes maybe not. But will soon find out as Telltale releases more details on this game.

As for the voice actors, Telltale revealed that it's Friday Night Lights actor Scott Porter will voice Star-Lord, Emily O'Brien (The Young and Restless) for Gamora, popular voice actor Nolan North for Rocket, Paul Eells (Watch Dogs) for Drax and then Adam Harrington (The Wolf Among Us) will voice Groot.

For the game's plot, which might give us a hint if this is really part of the same MCU universe, below is the official and brief synopsis released by Telltale.

"In the wake of an epic battle, the Guardians discover an artifact of unspeakable power. Each of them has a reason to desire this relic, as does a ruthless enemy who is the last of her kind, and who will stop at nothing to tear it from their hands."
