Register to McHappy Day Stripes Fun Run and Help Kids Learn to Read


The yearly McHappy Day Run is now on its 5th year and this 2015 it will be held in two prime locations in the country, one at the People's Park in Davao City and another at BGC in Taguig City all will take place on the same date which is going to be on December 5.

Just like the usual fun run activity, there are going to be different race categories runners can choose to join in especially for the whole family. Those are the following...

- Catch the Hamburglar 1K
- Race Grimace 3K for Children
- Run Grimace Run 3K for Adults
- McDonal's Family Dash 3K
- Early Birdie 5K
- Ronald McDonald Challenge 10K for Adults

Every McHappy Day Fun Run runners will receive a race kit that will include McHappy Day shirt, McDonal's red and white striped socks, stub for a free McDonal's breakfast meal at the venue, and a race bib.

One more good thing about this fun run, is that it's not just about gathering and running together, as proceeds from this event will benefit the "Ronald McDonald Read and Learn" program, which is major program of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).

RMHC's Ronald McDonald's Read and Learn is in partnership with the Department of Education and Adarna House supporting Grade 1 and 2  public school students learn how to read through a set of illustrated books. This program has already helped more than 11.5 million students since its inception, and since 1990 has distributed over 37,000 books to schools and conducted trainings to 7,500 partner schools with 22,000 trained educators.
