MyPhone Rio 2 Fun Smartphone Images and Specs Leaked Online

Another member of the Rio 2 series has just been leaked online through a Facebook group called MyPhoneRio2. A member of that group claimed that the MyPhone Rio 2 Fun is already available at some MyPhone stores and to proof that, two photos were posted in the group showing the image of the phone from the box and a second one showing the specs of the said new phone.

MyPhone Rio 2 Fun specs:

- 5" FWVGA IPS display
- 854 x 480 resolution
- 1.3GHz quad-core processor
- 1GB RAM
- 8GB internal storage
- Supports microSD card
- 5MP rear camera
- 5MP front camera
- Android 5.0 Lollipop
- WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS
- Dual-SIM
- 3G
- 2,000mAh battery

If we compare the specs listed above and match it with the previous MyPhone Rio Fun that was first introduced last year, we can find that most of the device's specs have been upgraded especially the internal storage from 512MB to now 8GB. One of the main complains users having with the first Rio Fun was the storage where most of them could not install more apps due to space issue. Even if they use microSD card the issue remains the same as most of the Android apps found on Google Play are not saved in the memory card. So I think this is going to be a big hit this time, plus it already runs on the newest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

If this is a real deal then we are seeing a hugely improved MyPhone Rio 2 Fun for a very affordable price. Speaking of pricing, the user did not mention the exact amount but said it is for a little over Php3k.
