Android 5.0 Lollipop Smartphones LG Magna and Leo now Available on Lazada Online

On their Facebook page, LG Philippines has been teasing us about their upcoming mid-range Android Lollipop smartphone offerings that are going to be released in the Philippines "soon".  While the exact release and availability dates are still to be announced and confirmed, the smartphones Magna and Leo are now available and can now be purchased on Lazada.com.ph.

There are even reports from users claiming that they have already spotted the two devices being sold at some LG and non-LG electronics store in Metro Manila. Of the two LG smartphones, it is the Magna that's a bit pricey as it is being offered for Php10,990 and it is not even Full HD in display, instead it has 720p or HD screen quality which for an average smartphone user is clear and bright enough. The best part about this particular smartphone is it's powered by the latest Android operating system, Android Lollipop and that it is capable of connecting to the internet up to LTE network category 4, that can promise up to 150mbps download speed.

As for the Leon device, this is the smaller sibling coming in at just 4.5 inches of display with 854x480 resolution and 220ppi, a much lesser screen size and resolution. However considering its price tag of almost half the Magna, it is reasonable enough. We still have the same quad-core processor with 768RAM, and expandable internal storage of 8GB. Also a Lollipop version. No LTE connectivity but there is still the 3G.

I am still waiting for the official announcement from LG itself, as I have a feeling that they might be priced lower than what Lazada Philippines is showing. I will keep an eye on this one and will let you know guys immediately.
