Sony Xperia E4 Officially Announced

Sony has quietly announced a new Xperia smartphone and it is called the Sony Xperia E4. The device will be powered by an Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS but some suggest that it could be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop when officially released. There will also be a single and dual SIM variants depending on the market availability. Pricing is yet to be announced but the Xperia E4 is expected to be released internationally within the quarter.

Powering the entire device is a 2,300mAh battery packs which Sony claims can last up to 2 days of "active use". The company also said that users can further lengthen the battery life by taking advantage of the STAMINA and ULTRA STAMINA modes on the E4. As for the cameras, the rear one features a 5MP lens with LED flash and is capable of 1080p video recording while the front-facing one has 2MP and can record 720p videos.
