Christian Bale and Cate Blanchett Join Andy Serkis' JUNGLE BOOK ORIGINS
About a couple of days ago it was confirmed that Benedict Cumberbatch will join the Andy Serkis directed film "Jungle Book: Origins" and then now two more big stars are also officially part of the movie adaptation, Christian Bale and Cate Blanchett.
According to a report on LA Times, Bale will voice the noble panther Bagheera while Blanchett will be the voice of hypnotic python Kaa. Cumberbatch will voice Shere Khan. The "Origins" will be directed by Andy Serkis. Just in case you do not know who Serkis is he is also the same actor who portrayed "Smeagol" in the Lord of the Rings and Ceasar in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. He is not just directing he will also play the bear character named Baloo.
You know whol will be playing Mowgli, the boy that was raised ib the wild? It's Rohan Chand, the kid from Lone Survivor and Bad Words movies.
There is also another Jungle Book movie adaptation from Disney and will be directed by Jon Favreau and this one is also a star studded film having Idris Elba, Scarlett Johansson, Ben Kingsley, Lupita Nyong'o and Bill Murray in the cast. This Favreau's movie will be released in October 2015 while the Serkis' one will follow a year after that in October as well.
