Instagram Introduces Hyperlapse App For iOS Devices

Facebook-owned photo and video sharing app Instagram has just introduced a new stand alone app called Hyperlapse. This new mobile app will allow users to create time-lapse videos straight from their mobile devices and produce a more professional looking video. Instagram announced through a blog post

Hyperlapse will shoot videos at a lower frame rate and then play it in standard or normal frame rate. According to the blog post Instagram said...

"Traditionally, time lapse videos depend on holding your phone or camera still while you film. Hyperlapse from Instagram features built-in stabilization technology that lets you create moving, handheld time lapses that result in a cinematic look, quality and feel,
That means users won't have to worry about shakey video captures as the app will take care of it for them while they shoot the video in motion. Another good thing about this Hyperlapse is users don't need to create an account to use it, they can just start recording videos directly from the camera and tap the screen to start and tap it again to stop capturing, then they can select how fast they want it played between 1x and 12x.

Currently iOS users will have the opportunity to enjoy the app, Android users will have to wait until Google makes some changes on Android's camera and gyroscope APIs according to Wired.
