Netflix Releases Arcane Season 2 Trailer

 

Arcane animated series has been one of the most popular shows of Netflix since debuting in the streaming platform in 2021. The show is based on Riot Game's League of Legends game. Today, Netflix just released a brand new trailer for the much anticipated animated sequel. 

Arcane Season 2 will premiere on Netflix this November 2024.

Netflix says this second season will end the story of Arcane. However, their co-creator did mention that it is the "first of many stories" planned to be told in the League of Legends world. While they are not completely saying there are more series to come based on the phenomenal game, this statement gives us hope that there might be more to come in the future which I guess will be based on the second season's success and Netflix's decision.

"Arcane is just the beginning of our larger storytelling journey and partnership with the wonderful animation studio that is Fortiche," said co-creator Christian Linke in a statement. "From the very beginning, since we started working on this project, we had a very specific ending in mind, which means the story of Arcane wraps up with this second season. But Arcane is just the first of may stories that we want to tell in Runeterra."
