Super Mario Run Coming to Android on March 23

In January of this year Nintendo said that they plan to release the Super Mario Run mobile game to the Android platform sometime in March. Today, the Japanese gaming company has just revealed via their Twitter account for America the exact date when the release is going to be. Android users like you and me will be able to download Super Mario Run from Google Play beginning March 23, 2017.

Super Mario Run has been available for iOS users since December 2016. Now together with this Android version launch, Nintendo said they will also roll out the Version 2.0.0 update which will basically add new playable characters to the game and will enable players unlock Stages 1-4 in the free mode.

Right now the business model for iOS version is users can play the game's first few levels for free and if they want to unlock the full version, there will be a one time fee of $9.99. Now we don't know if this is going to be same for Android users, but based on its Google Play page right now, looks like it is. But of course, everything will be revealed when the game becomes officially released next week.
