Vivo V5 Plus With Dual Front Camera is Coming to the Philippines

Apparently the Philippines is still big in terms of selfie market as OPPO and Vivo are enjoying this segment by releasing their selfie-centric devices and gaining a lot of success. As of today, it is OPPO F1s and Vivo V5 are dominating the local tech scene both for the best selfie taking devices and for a very affordable prices. And it does not stop there actually, this coming January 21, 2017 Vivo will launch an even crazier smartphone, called the V5 Plus.

What's crazy about this you ask? It has dual front facing camera! Yes two camera shooters in the front panel right above the massive 5.5-inch screen. One of those is going to be a 20MP snapper co-engineered with Sony while the second one is pegged at 8MP that'll help to capture depth-of-field information. When these two work together, they will be able to provide a well defined bokeh effect in images. Your selfie photos with stunningly beautiful blurred background will be the next big thing in your photo streams or social media posts. For now those are the available information about the front cameras, we will know more at the launch event this weekend at MOA. The back camera of this phone will have 16MP. And of course beautification modes and other camera-related features will also be present here on Vivo V5 Plus.

It is not clearly detailed yet if the 5.5-inch IPS display will have the same HD resolution, but knowing that this device will sport a 64-bit processor with 4GB RAM, I guess we expect its display resolution to be a little higher than its siblings atleast at 1080p.

Storage wise, users will enjoy a massive 64GB right out of the box and it even expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. Up to 4G LTE supports and dual-SIM slot are also expected this device to have. And as for its battery capacity, Vivo fans will be happy to know that it houses a 3160mAh one with fast charging technology.

The Vivo V5 Plus is already available in India for pre-order online via DirectD for RM 1,799 or about Php20,000 when converted in our currency.

Stay tuned for more details on its official local launch on January 21, 2017.
