Oppo Unleashes Press Images for the Upcoming R7 and R7 Plus Smartphones

The Chinese electronics giant is set to officially and fully unveil their new flagship devices R7 and R7 Plus on May 20. Unlike most smartphone and tablet manufacturers, Oppo has little by little been releasing marketing materials for the two devices.

A couple of days ago, there was a TV commercial for the smartphones being released by Oppo. Prior to this video ad which you can see below, many thought that it was only an R7 that would be unveiled by the company but at the end of the video there everyone saw that there is an upsized version coming with the standard one and it's called the R7 Plus.

Today, more stuff that just came out courtesy of Oppo itself, the press images of the two smartphones sporting the front and back faces as well as the sides. See them below.

A few things have already been told by these photos, first the front sides of the two do not alike. We can see that the smaller brother has the familiar Android capacitive keys on the lower bezel while the bigger one has not but instead goes on-screen for navigation feature and replaced the area with the Oppo branding.

On the back, right below the camera, sits the fingerprint scanner but only on the Plus version and not on the smaller one. That already tells me that the R7 Plus will be more premium that the standard R7 in terms of looks and features. Those are not officially announced yet, but these images seem to say so. All of these will be known once Oppo Electronics announced the devices at their event at the end of this month.
