Nokia 215 Internet-Ready Feature Phone With the Cheapest Price

Microsoft has just unveiled a new phone offering, not a Lumia device though but still able to connect to the internet. Meet the Nokia 215. It's a very basic device that is aimed at people who do not really like complicated smartphones and tablet or has very limited budget but still at the same time get connected to the online world. The Nokia 215 once hits the Philippine market will be priced around Php1,300.

Later this quarter Microsoft will roll out the Nokia 215 starting in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe. It will only cost $29 or about Php1,300 before tax.

The Nokia 215 will come pre-installed with apps like Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, Opera Mini and more. Since all Nokia devices and brand name is now owned by Microsoft, this device will also powered by Bing Search app. For the battery, there will be a 1,100mAh juice. That may sound too small for you but remember this is a feature phone, in fact according to Microsoft that battery can last up to 29 days on standby mode.

I will update this post once we get more information about the Nokia 215 especially its Philippine release.
