Sony's Perfume Botlle-Shaped Selfie Camera DSC-KW1 Is Now Official

This device was previously leaked and looked like nothing real about this due to its very unique design for a camera device, it's perfume bottle shaped gadget. But yes it is very real as Sony has just officially announced its existence, at least in China. The selfie-centric CyberShot camera is called DSC-KW1.

The camera of the device sits inside the bottle cap with Sony's latest sensor technology featuring a 19.2MP and F2.0 wide angle lens with 21mm focal length. With that in hand the KW1 will defintely make every user's photos more attractive and enhanced. Most assume that this device is targeted at women of fashion. Plus the cap can be rotated up to 180 degrees for non-selfie picture taking purposes.

The body, which resembles an Xperia smartphone, holds a 3.3 OLED Toucscreen display. And it is capable of connecting to the internet through WiFi and has a built-in NFC connectivity feature. Sony did not mention (yet) as to how much internal space the device will come in but it said that it will support mircoSD for additional storage requirement. DSC-KW1 camera will come in white, pink, purple and gree.

There are touch slide shutter, self-timer, instant share, and smartphone control functions built in, while the surface is inlaid with "dazzling Swarovski elements". And those made the device look and feel more premium.

It is an expensive device though as its converted price in dollars will be around $845.
