David Yates To Direct Harry Potter Movie Spinoff FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM

Variety has exclusively reported, according to their sources, that David Yates is returning to direct the new and first Harry Potter spinoff movie titled Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

The site added that "No deal has been made but insiders confirm both sides are in negotiations."

If this is going to be officially confirmed, this is not the first time Yates will be working with Warner Bros and J.K. Rowling, she is currently writing the screen play for the Fantastic Beasts, as Yates was the director of the last four Harry Potter films.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is actually not a direct sequel nor prequel to all Harry Potter films but still set in the same wizarding world where Harry Potter and his friends live. The events here take place about 70 years before Harry was born and if you still remember it, Fantastic Beasts is one of the textbooks Harry, Hermione and Ron used while they were studying in Hogwarts.

This movie will be released in November of 2016 is is going to be a trilogy series as the current plan says. So far no official actors have been announced for the film but most probably we will hear more and more before the year ends.
