Gionee Elife E7 Mini Now in the PH
Gionee, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has brought the Elife E7 Mini device in the Philippines. Like what the name suggests, it is a mini version of the Elife E7 Android smartphone and even though they share the same name there are a lot of differences between the two which is very normal when it comes high-end devices having their own mini-me versions.
First is the screen size, Elife E7 Mini's display is downsized from 5.5-inch Full HD to 4.7" HD. So from 1920x1080 resolution, the mini has 1280x720 resolution. RAM was also trimmed down from 2GB/3GB (depending on internal storage) to 1GB and the internal storage from two options of 16GB or 32GB to only 16GB space. Still no microSD card slot for additional storage.
The Gionee Elife E7 Mini packs a 1.7GHz Octa-core processor by MediaTek MT6592 chip. It is still running Android 4.2 Jellybean. As for its camera, it now sports only one snapper with 13MP lens (no front facing one) but the good thing about this is the rear camera is it can be rotated to use as a front camera and really like this part. Still with autofocus and LED flash equipped, so the quality of the photos must be so good.
The Battery is quite not clear here as the Elife E7 Mini photo posted by Gionee Philippines on Facebook says 2,100mAh but every blog I visited even the official specs page on GSMArena says 2200mAh. Users can now purchase this device for a price tag of Php13,999.
